James Hempsall

James is the Director of Hempsall Consultancies. With over 16 years experience in the childcare field, as a practitioner, trainer and consultant, James has specialisms in out of school childcare, play and childcare development strategies and sufficiency assessment.

His primary areas are working with local authorities in implementing all aspects of the National Childcare Strategy, Sure Start children’s centres, private sector employers, and regeneration projects. Training areas are wide ranging from childcare practice through to strategic planning, particularly focusing on management, policy and facilitation.
